Guest Winda Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Re: defrag. shortcut lost franktee, Look for C:\System32\dfrg.msc, copy this file, that is dfrg.msc, and paste it as a shortcut where ever you like to. - Winda "franktee" <franktee@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:63740E6B-519C-4217-A637-1DAB2D6D47C0@microsoft.com... | Appreciate any helpful info on how to reinstate my defraf. shortcus. | Original is corrupt.

Guest franktee Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 RE: defrag. shortcut lost Hi again Sorry for the typo. Please allow again. Have originally lost defragmenting and system restore features. Have since, found out that my system Tools feature file, in start/acccessories, is empty, therefore I am unable to access the above features. I may have accidently deleted that file. Appreciate any help to restore same. Thanks in advance franktee "franktee" wrote: > Appreciate any helpful info on how to reinstate my defraf. shortcus. > Original is corrupt.

Guest Gerry Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Re: defrag. shortcut lost Frank The shortcuts are in All Users not the various other users folders. Did you check the sub-folder of All Users? -- Hope this helps.
