franktee,

Look for C:\System32\dfrg.msc, copy this file, that is dfrg.msc, and paste it as a

shortcut where ever you like to.

RE: defrag. shortcut lost

Hi again

Sorry for the typo.

Please allow again.

Have originally lost defragmenting and system restore features. Have since,

found out that my system Tools feature file, in start/acccessories, is

empty, therefore I am unable to access the above features. I may have

accidently deleted that file.

Appreciate any help to restore same.

Thanks in advance

Here's a program you can run that should restore your missing

shortcuts.

"Defraf" is his typo for "defrag" and "shortcus" is his typo for

"shortcut," just as "waht" is apparently your typo for "what."

Frank

The shortcuts are in All Users not the various other users folders. Did

you check the sub-folder of All Users?

Hope this helps.
