Guest Jack Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Hello Actually not just IE7, some other software too When one of the windows shuts down, other instances would shut down too How could I modify this behaviour in XP? I just want the one to shut down to shut down... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Jack
Guest kartinsky Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 RE: IE7 shutdown chain reaction There is now way to my knowledge. All the IE7 windows share a single process, so when one of them stalls and the process is terminated all of them close. You can circumvent this problem by installing a free IE addon called "IE7 pro" which keeps a record of all open windows and re-opens them after a crash. Try looking for "IE7 pro" on google.
