Guest Erwin Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I've been using an external monitor with my laptop through a docking station for a couple of years. I recently bought a new monitor and it is connected but I seemed to have clicked on the wrong button while trying to balance the "Display Settings" between the two monitors. Only one monitor now shows desktop icons, the start bar and any programs. The other monitor only has a blank desktop background. They were both working fine until I started my "tweaks". I can toggle between the two monitors using my graphics card options but only the monitor designated as #1 shows the proper desktop and programs. TIA for any help. -- Erwin
