Installing 2 Nics in XP to share files on 2 different networks

Someone told me I could install 2 network cards in XP, and connect

each card to a different LAN to allow XP to share files on bother

networks while protecting each LAN from the other. Has anyone done

this?

No. I'm in the planning stages.

I have done something similiar.......2 network cards both running tru the

same router used one for local network only and the other for Internet

access only.
