Guest st Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I have this users pc when it boots and gets to the point after the xp screen with the bar that goes across the screen the screen goes blank and black with just the mouse working. I have searched and tried a few things and nothing has worked, it does the same thing in safe mode. I have booted into recovery console and did a fixboot and then a fixmbr. I have tried a BootCfg /Rebuild that did not work.

This sometimes helps with problems like this. HTH -pk
