Guest NOTEKY Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 While trying to resolve another issue, I monkied with the registry permissions and now, I can't use Windows Update to update and software I've installed since "has encountered a problem and needs to close......" every time I try and open it. Does anyone know where I can find an example of what the "default" registry permissions should look like? Thank you.

Guest NOTEKY Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Re: Registry Permissions I notice the SUBINACL file is for XP PRO but I have XP HOME. :( Would you know if the program will work on XP HOME or will I end up causing more damage? do I need to do anything extra? Thanks for the suggestion. "R.
