Guest monty1945@lycos.com Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 At the MSN site, it says that you will be prompted to insert new floppies when necessary, but what happens is that it tries to install everything on one disk, and then I get the message that there isn't enough room. Anybody know what could be wrong? And could I also save the file to my HD, then write it to a CD, making a startup CD? Thanks.

Try http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994 or http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm You can make bootable CD-DVD's, but I am not sure if it is a direct copy across of the boot disk creator file. You can also set the CD-DVD device in the BIOS as bootable (if a bootable disk is inserted), requiring no need for boot disks, other than the exisiing one on the installation disk. - Winda <monty1945@lycos.com> wrote in message news:1191199636.584454.315560@o80g2000hse.googlegroups.com... | At the MSN site, it says that you will be prompted to insert new | floppies when necessary, but what happens is that it tries to install | everything on one disk, and then I get the message that there isn't | enough room.
