Guest SonicForce Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 On my IBM ThinkCentre, which is running XP Pro SP2, if I do the following... * Right click on My Computer * Choose Manage * Expand Services and Applications * Select WMI Control * Right click WMI Control and choose Properties All I get is Failed to connect to <local computer> because "WMI: Not found" Any thoughts please? I do have admin rights to this PC. -- -Graham

The service you mentioned has an Automatic startup type and is reported as Started.
