Guest Buster Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Hi There, I have a trading program which needs trading values downloaded monthly. I have two more or less the same computers that I run the program on and with one all works well, with the other I get a "could not find installable isam" error. The machines are XP SP2. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Buster

I can't even figure out what this word could mean even if you just misspelled it. However, you should contact the trading program's tech support for help with their software. That is their error message and they will know what it means and how to fix it. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers http://www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User

Guest Buster Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Re: Could not find installable isam Hi There, Thanks for the response. ISAM = Indexed Sequential Access Method The help desk at the program suppliers think I have a corruped MDAC but couldn't fix it. Any further thoughts? Guest Buster Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Re: Could not find installable isam That sort of response is not helpfull and you don't have to shout! If you can't be nice don't bother! A better response would be to tell me where it would be more appropriate to post the problem that I have. I think you have issues mate!
