I have never been able to open PPS files in OE. Yet when I save these files

I can open without any problems using windows explorer.

Attempting to open in OE gives message:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this

action. Create an association in the folder options control panel".

The Tools, Folder Options and File Types is correctly set for PPS files

files to be opened by the Powerpoint reader. Hence there is no problem with

Explorer.

Help please.

Since the problem is restricted to OE, I would ask the experts

in an OE newsgroup.
