Guest +Bob+ Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 My network connection seems to start up very late in the login process. I have a program that runs out of the key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] that needs the network and it fails about half the time. I can see that the little network icon is not in the toolbar yet and the network is not running - yet the run keys are already executing. Is there any way to get the network & card startup to run earlier in the startup process? Thanks,
Guest JS Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Re: Network Startup Timing Startup Delayer: http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&show=startdelay Used it in the past and it allows you to not only delay the startup of an application (that loads when you logon) but also arrange the load order.
