Guest Brett Kirkness Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I have a Toshiba A70 laptop running WinXP SP2. When the laptop was turned on last no programs world run from the start menu or from the shortcut bar. Also applications will not run when run from their directory on the hard drive. CMD.exe also does not run as will anything else started from the run prompt. when programs are run the open dialog comes up asking what to open the program with. I have run AVG on the hard drive with no virii found and AVG will still run its scheduled testing. All help would be appreciated Brett
