Every time I log on I receive a Virus threat alert from Windows Defenders indicating the threat was quarantined. The virus is identified as “Trojan: Win32/Kovter.A!Ink” in (86e1C.Ink), also it indicates a Kovter.gen!A virus. I have attempted to remove the threat, including running Windows Defender scan offline to remove the virus but I continue to receive alerts of virus found. How can I get this virus permanently removed from my computer? Do I need to purchase a special virus/maleware program instead of Window Defender?
