Hello!

So I have a weird issue with a two month old Dell Inspiron running Windows 10...

This issue started back in mid-June...

I open the start menu, and begin to type in something (say, Control Panel). I only get maybe two letters in, and the search menu stays white, no searches, freezes, then goes away.... I try again, and it does the same thing.

Same goes for searching in my settings. I click on the search box in the settings home, and I only get two to three letters in before it freezes and closes my settings all together...I've tried the troubleshooter, and it doesn't pick up on anything. I've tried restarting the search services, nothing...

Can anyone tell me how to fix this??? I miss being able to search up a setting. Now I have to scroll through my apps on the start menu to find the windows folder and open the control panel, and cannot search in my settings menu.

Thank you!

Oh! I almost forgot, when I open the reliability history, it says that Cortana stopped working. This pops up in the report every time I try to search...
