When running an application as a different user, sometimes the ID gets passed to other applications. For example,

Logged in to pc with my active directory account - accountA.

Open some stuff (Outlook, Internet browser, Microsoft Word, SQL Server Management Studio)

Go to start menu

Shift/right click an application (in this case, I am logging on the SQL Server Management Studio with a different active directory account - accountB)

Open a new internet browser session, or a new tab on the existing session. Get an access denied message from the browser for accountB. (This is not just isolated to internet...access denied comes from other applications that are subsequently opened as well.)

Any idea why windows is passing the run as account to other applications? I would think it would be isolated to the specific application that was logged on to and not override the active desktop connection.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
