windows 10 Favorites List Gone from Edge

My Favorites List and Reading List are gone from Edge. They were all there earlier this afternoon. I did notice that when I turned on my PC just now, I got a Welcome to Edge screen, as if I hadn't been using it before. The way I have the Edge Start page and Home page are the same as before, but where are the missing Edge Favorites and Reading Lists? Also, I had cleared my History as of earlier this afternoon, but now there are History lists from Earlier Today 7/14/17, Yesterday 7/13/17, and Wednesday 7/12/17. Most of the items in the History list don't have icons before them and refer to sites I'm not familiar with. I have been using Windows 10 and Edge browser ever since their initial release. I always keep my system and apps up to date. Does anyone have a similar situation that has been resolved? Thank you for your help.
