windows 7 werfault.exe after udate in Windows 7

Hi, my computer installed 2 updates a couple of days ago and ever since it has been completely unusable.

 

I repeatedly get a werfault.exe error, in both safe mode and regular. I am unable to turn off windows error reporting as mentioned in other threads of similar issues as werfault pops up every time I try to open a window or a program, and windows explorer crashes.

 

 

I have also tried to perform a system restore for a time before the upgrades were installed, where I'm met with another error stating that system restore failed to complete correctly and no changes have been made (this happens at all 4 restore points on my system).

 

 

As a last resort I downloaded a copy of Windows 10, to see if I could install it over the top of Windows 7 as an 'upgrade', however it won't let me do that off the Windows 10 USB as a boot drive, and asks the start the upgrade process from windows, which brings me back to werfault.exe not allowing any programs/windows to be opened.

 

 

 

So... where can I go from here, so that I can still use my computer.
