Why no view options in Explorer?

So, I've recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 and this small fraction of time, I've faced many bugs like log-in failures, WiFi disabling, Start menu icon disappearing and many more but after surpassing those with tons of google searches I'm stuck on a point that why there is no View and folder options(shortcuts) at the top over the box like it was in windows 8.1 which shows check boxes and many more options...Why developers removed it...it was so useful to have....or if they didn't remove it then why I can't see it....Any help would be appreciated...
