Windows 10 Creator 1703 update, no internet

With the upgrade to Win Creator internet connection was lost. I opened Device Manager and found eleven warnings, perhaps critically, two of them related to Network Adapters. I went back to 1607, ran Windows Update Troubleshooter, it claimed to have fixed four problems. I ran Device Manager and all but two of the warnings had disappeared, neither was related to Network Adapters. I have checked all driver software and it is up to date. Win Creator was reinstalled and the problem persists. The laptop is a Sony Vaio VGN-N31S/W.
