Login Screen Black (but works), Desktop shows, but nothing works on it, Task manager...

Sorry for the awkward subject, but this is a very weird issue.

 

 

I have come across many similar topics that have solutions (often related to explorer.exe not working), but the solutions can't be applied in my case.

 

 

Note: Just know that I am typing this on my phone, which seems to be a problem since this text field is not optimized for mobile, so please bear with my potentially weird formatting and uncorrectible typos (like the "4." on the bottom of the text which I can't delete for some reason)

 

 

Here is a list of all the problems:

 

 

1. Login screen is black and only shows a cursor. However, I can blindly type in my login Pin, which leads me to my desktop.

 

 

2. My desktop is visible, as is the taskbar and the start menu. However, no desktop icons or taskbar icons (on the bottom right normally next to the date) appear.

 

 

3. I can open any application technically, but the windows don't display. The application is shown in the taskbar, but nothing shows on the desktop. This is the main issue, since I cannot use Task Manager, Command Prompt, or anything else. Again, the applications start as signified by their appearance on the task bar - The applications just don't show on my screen. This includes things like the "Switch Desktops" view. It's extremely weird

 

 

4. Lastly, I just want to note that the right-click drop down does appear, but again, selecting any option does not display the window, only the taskbar icon for the window.
