Hi - does anyone know how I deselect the Free Select Tool on Gimp 2.8 please? I wanted to blur the background on some photos and could not get any of the Tools to deselect so had to do it the laborious way with the Blur/Sharp option. I remember from using Photoshop before that I could easily select/deselect the Magic Wand tool if I wanted to change a background, but cannot find how to deselect in Gimp. Have tried various options I found on the web/Gimp manual but none seem to work. Thank you.
