Yesterday my wireless adapter disappeared. Not a low battery issue. I walked away for 10 minutes and when I returned my wireless connection had disappeared and only an ethernet icon showed.

 

 

In network properties, though Wi-Fi status is "not present" a physical address is listed.

 

 

My computer is two years old and came with Windows 10. This is not an upgrade from a lower version.
