Windows Defender on Windows 10 turned off

I get a message that Windows Defender is turned off. The message says the app is turned off and is not monitoring the computer. I have Super Antispyware and Malwarebyte, as well as Avast on the computer. Is the Avast causing it to turn off? Should I remove it?

 

I don't know enough about this to feel confident without some advice.
