Hello,

After a recent Windows 10 update, I am unable to connect to the Internet. Through online searches, I have found a number of people with similar problems in theory but the solutions have been attempted and do not work (i.e., this is not a DNE issue, the Realtek drivers are functioning correctly according to Device Manager, etc.) I am also unable to restore to a restore point previous to this issue starting as the restore points prior to the date this occurred are missing.

That being said, I found this: Network Adapter - Ethernet and WiFi Not Present after Windows 10 Update

The problems this user noted were similar to my own but the results post-Microsoft higher level support contact were not updated to say what was done and/or whether any solution(s) offered worked for that user. (Note: My problem in relation to a desktop machine, not a laptop and wired connection still does not allow for connection to Internet.) Has anyone else experienced this same issue and been able to resolve it?

Affected machine = HP 21-2024 All-In-One-Desktop; Windows 10 Home version 1607 OS Build 14393.0

Thanks!
