Hi all,

After upgrading to the latest version of windows 10 (1703) I get constantly a blue screen message:

“Your PC ran into a problem and needs a restart. We're just collecting some

error info, and then we'll restart for you.”

For more information about this issue and possible fixes, visit https://www.windows.com/stopcode

If you call a support person, give them this info:

  • stop code: Memory Management
  • stop code: System thread exception not handled
  • stop code: System service exception
  • and more variations of the stop codes.

The PC always restarts every 30 sec. so there is no time to do any checks. After a few restarts I get a different screen:

Recovery

It looks like Windows didn’t load correctly.

If you’d like to restart and try again, choose “Restart my PC” below. Otherwise choose “See advanced repair options

for trouble shooting tools and advanced options. If you don’t know which option is right for you contact someone you

trust to help with this.

I have tried most options here and even Save mode doesn't work neither does Restore and Reset Windows.

So I'm trying to do a clean windows 10 install on a new SSD from a bootable usb flash drive created by downloading windows 10 Media creation tool.

But now I get the following error after the first step has finished: The Installation was canceled, any changes made to your computer won’t be saved. Windows Cannot Install Required Files, Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error Code: 0x8007025D

I used the option to put in the activation key later.

I have created the bootable usb flash drive again but the same error appears.

Searching the web I found a possible reason. "The error can also arise when you do a clean install of Windows 10. This arises from the loss of the activation key. If you upgrade from Windows 7 or 8.1 to 10, the activation key will be linked with the new OS. However, if a fresh install is done, then the error will appear saying that some files are not available on the install media."

Any suggestions?

Thanks and best regards
