windows 10 IRQL not less than equal

Hello all!

 

 

I've just put together a new build with Windows 10 64-bit and 32GB RAM G.skill 2400 sticks, Ryzen 7 1700X processor, and the new ASRock x370 mini-ITX board for AMD AM4 processors. Graphics card is an EVGA GEForce GTX 960 4GB SSC. I have not changed any settings from factory--no overclocking by me. I'm using Windows Defender until this can get rectified.

I've also got a SIlverstone slim blu ray optical drive and a SamsungPro M.2 256 GB drive. All drivers updated. Even replaced the driver's for the Intel Dual Band AC 7265 through Intel's site.

 

 

Since the first attempted Windows 10 install, the computer has randomly shown the IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL blue screen, and only rarely with an accompanying code. About 10% shows the DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL heading. It happens during or shortly after (within a few min) of restart. I've reinstalled Windows 10 twice, the last time it did NOT occur during install, but it did the first one or two times. I've had it occur at all phases of installation--during the OS install, motherboard drivers install, and graphics card install, and software programs install. At one point, I tried the driver verifier through command prompt, and the verifier found problems immediately on restart, but then wouldn't finish startup even to the automatic repair option. Could only get to the BIOS so I reinstalled everything again. I can't figure it out.
