windows 10 Last Microsoft update slows down my computer big time

I have a Dell Computer who keeps telling me this is a software issue with Microsoft.

 

 

After the last Windows update this past Thursday evening/Friday morning, my laptop has been slower than molasses. I turn the system on, and have to wait like 15-20 minutes after login with my Windows 10 access code to get a system that isn't constantly hitting the hard drive 100%. The mouse icon is constantly a blue circle. And I haven't installed any new programs or anything of the like for a good week prior to this issue appeared on Friday morning after the Windows Update.

 

 

So need some help on removing this slowness that was caused by the Update. Tried contacting Dell Computer but all they want to do is sell me an over priced software plan that costs more than my computer!!
