I have a Vaio VPCSC1AFD that has an original win 7. I have lot's of problems with the original win 7 after these years.

  • The win 7 isn't updated ( when I install an updates it fails)
  • The AMD GPU driver is old ( I have a win 8.1 dual boot with a new driver that works better in new graphical software that win 7 can't run like Vegas Pro 14)
  • The Internet Explorer isn't updated ( fails ) so I can't install some of Engineering software that require a newer IE during installation
  • The service pack 1 is corrupted ( I think ), because I can't run the Studio One software and it gives me an error to install service pack 1

  1. one problem to do a clean install is that I have lot's of software that I don't want to lose and I don't have time and energy to reinstall all of them. Some of them are old and I have lost their original installers or activation licenses.
  2. The other problem is that I tried installing win 10 beside my win 7 but there was no Wifi driver for win 10. So i deleted the win 10.

  3. Also my laptop seems to work better in win 7, because in the win 8.1 I can't change the brightness of GPU properly and It seems that my dual GPU drivers don't switch well automatically. In addition, I couldn't install the Vaio control center to manage the battery power and CPU performance

Is there a way to reinstall the win 7 without these problems?

(If there is no way maybe I would delete the dual boot win 8.1 and upgrade my win 7 to win 8.1. Is there a way to do this without losing data and softwares? )
