Out of the blue my system all of a sudden pops the feared " not genuine" in the bottom right and wants to activate [again]. Tried auto activation and get a "this is not a valid microsoft license". Tried by Phone, same thing. Called microsoft support and explain this to "support" and after telling them the license key they say it is not recognized. It's a toshiba product and they then tell me Toshiba has blocked it and want me to send a picture of the COA label to them.

I figure, what a bunch of crap and tell them so. I pull out a new Copy of Windows 7 HP and try to activate and get the same info with 2 BRAND NEW license keys that have never been used. Call Microsoft again and explain and for 40 minuted they tell me it's a valid license and try to make it work. Finally the rep logs in to my system and jacks around in the registry for another 30 minutes and after a restart all of a sudden the new key I had to use is now good and system is again functional.

MY concern is what's to prevent this from re-occurring or happening on every Windows 7 PC just so Microsoft can force that piece of crap windows 10 on me and everyone else
