windows 10 Cortana & Search: not connecting to the internet

Cortana won't connect to the internet, but everything else is fine. I have worked throughout Microsoft Community for every day mostly at least week without finding anything worthy of solving my problem on my Windows 10 PC. I have a disability (a very determined & stubborn quadriplegic) where I tend to find things that are very hard to do in computers and technology. Plus, it slows you down, so you can imagine being used to just asking a question out of the blue without even moving toward my PC and getting an answer back is REALLY a great thing to have around. However, most of my answers come from the web, so Cortana is useless to me now. If someone could please help me fix this problem, my appreciation will be very grand, as I need this feature badly! Thanks in advance!
