Windows 10 Creator Update Fails but shows successful install

On my third attempt to perform the Creator update, it failed like the previous two attempts. This time, however it showed in the alerts section both a failure and a successful install.

 

The Power button no longer shows the option to perform updates when restarting.

 

Since this time, my machine will freeze either as soon as the logon page appears, or I might get 15 minutes of time to perform some computer functions.
