IE does not resize when going from a landscape orientation to a full screen portrait back...

Hello,

I have 3 displays on my laptop (2 using HDMI {landscape} and 1 using the video connection {portrait} [all through a docking station]). Generally speaking, I use IE (11.0.9600.18665CO) running on Widows 7 (7.1.0315.3) on one of my landscape oriented displays, but when I need to see a document that is better on the portrait display, when I drag and drop the IE window to this display in full screen mode, and then reduce it to its original size to be pulled back on the landscape display, then orientation relative to the portrait display does not change and I need to reduce the size significantly and drag it back to the landscape display, where I need to resize the IE window again. So the steps are (all in IE):

  1. Open up the webpage that contains the content to be viewed.
  2. Grab the title bar and drag the window to the portrait top edge, to expand the window full screen.
  3. After I am done, I click the double-box icon in the top-right corner of the window to return it to its original size.

    1. Step #3 does not do what is expected. The IE screen is reduced, but it is still long and narrow and if dragged to a landscape screen the bottom is way off screen.

[*]I then need to reduce the window to a smaller size (so that it will completely display in a landscape window).

[*]Now in the landscape screen, I resize the window to its original size.

All this is kind of a pain, and other applications do not behave this way (Adobe Reader DC for one). Also, I work in a very secured environment. Self patching and upgrading are not an option, as all patches and upgrades are reviewed, approved, and made available only after a complete security check. If there is a patch the resolves this, I can report it for consideration, but is may be weeks, if not months before it can be applied. If it is something that has not been reported or fixed, how to I go about reporting it? Is there some configuration item in IE that may be responsible (assuming it is not locked down in my environment)? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

~Jon.

P.S. I don't read the email that any updates to this question might receive, so it may be a relatively long time before I can respond.
