Cleaning of Air Vents

So I have an HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible and it randomly just freezes, and I have to hold the power button down and reopen it. I'm not sure if its a software problem like the amount of apps, or what I do with the computer which is usually gaming. But anyways onto the subject, I'm unsure how to actually clean the air vents since I've tried using a can of compressed air and it did nothing to help me. So I'm just confused on how to fix the problem of freezing, and/or the vents.
