My wife's Windows 7 computer has suddenly quit connecting to the internet unless my main computer is connected. Previously it connected even if it is the only computer turned on. With my machine connected everything works fine. I have made no changes to either machine.

 

I have no bridge installed but that is what it acts like. Ihave checked the various settings such as the gateway and see no problem.

 

I am not knowledgable on networking.

 

I just want her to be able to turn her machine on and connect to the internet as it did before.

 

I am on a wireless internet provider and it has worked well for several years. I am using a Linksys router.
