Start menu doesn't work after 1703 update

Hi,

 

 

After the 1703 Creators' update, the start menu has stopped working. Every time I click on start, I get this error saying "Your Start menu isn't working. We'll try to fix it the next time you sign in". It fails to fix it even after multiple sign in attempts. Even the icons on the right side of the taskbar don't work.

 

 

The only way I have been able to make it work is by running sfc /scannow from powershell. Everything works fine until the next sign in.

 

Does anybody have the same issue?
