Picture Timestamp incorrect

This is becoming a reoccurring problem with my Picture Timestamp. There have been frequent pictures that I have saved from online that will save a "Different" date than the day that I'm saving them to my computer. I.E. - I saved a picture of a plot of land in Canada from online to my pictures and for some reason, instead of today's date as when its saved, it is showing "Date Taken". How do I fix this nuisance?
