After windows updates, my webpages only fill up 25% of the screen

Windows 7 on a 3 year old Dell Inspiron computer using Internet Explorer.

 

I installed the July 2017 monthly updates and now my webpages only open in the upper left quarter of my screen. Last year this happened I found that it was updates KB3185319 & 30 causing it. I removed them and the webpages were full screen again.

 

I've tried maximizing the pages and stretching them manually but the pages don't stay full screen. I don't want to do a system restore again since it has to be one of the updates. Which one(s) though? Thanks!
