windows 7 where is the windows search link for windows 7? i come from windows xp experience

i'm going crazy trying to transition from xp service pack 3

 

i don't know where the search app/window/link that used to be found on the xp start button

 

 

i want to be able to search for all files/folders identified by a specific name

 

 

but i can't find the search on win7

 

 

please help. 7is the worst ! i'd go back and install xp on this "new" maching if i could. but i err: 8, 8.1 and 10 are much worse
