Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem and is able to offer a solution.

A few days ago I found myself unable to print wirelessly when using a printer ( HP Deskjet 3630 series ) that had worked up to that point.

I have a HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab254sa which is running on Windows 10 ( 64 bit ). It is 18 months old - as is the printer. It will not print when I use the above Notebook.

I also have a HP PavilionX2 Detachable Notebook ( also 18 months old ) running on Windows 10. I am able to use the above printer wirelessly to print - as usual - from this Notebook.

The HP support online has offered a lot of advice but have not been able to resolve the problem.

When I attempt to print on the 15-ab254sa Notebook the following message is displayed :

splwow64.exe -Ordinal Not Found

The ordinal 342 could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\mxdwdrv.dll

The wireless network test results inform me that no problems have been found and that the set up of the printer has been successful.

A Microsoft Word ( I have installed Office 2013 ) message appears when I try to print a Word document -

We couldn't print because there doesn't seem to be a printer installed :-(

Today I connected a Canon MG4250 wireless printer and I am able to print the Word documents that I was unable to print on the HP 3630 series printer.

Please is anyone able to offer a solution?

Many thanks,

Oaklands364.
