Skype program infected??

I seem to have encountered a bit of a strange problem with my computer, where when I have the Skype application open(background or on-screen) Google Chrome opens up and links me to an adserver.metacafe site. This happens if I am in a call and I fullscreen it, when I open the application, etc. I've used Microsoft Security Essentials, CCleaner, ADWCleaner, I've manually gone through my programs, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. I have tried uninstalling Skype, and manually deleting all files relating to Skype, but to no avail. I am relatively certain that it is Skype, for the reason that I didn't use it on my desktop for about a week, and Chrome never opened up, but as soon as I launch Skype, the site loads up.

 

This isn't exactly a life-or-death problem, but it is inconvenient.

 

-I have also reset Chrome, and I have reset all of my internet settings on my machine
