windows 10 Cortana is almost useless

What is the purpose of having Cortana and all these other apps linked to my searches, history, and other personal info if you guys at Microsoft are not going to make the application trainable nor give the ability to truly customize it.

 

I should be able to assign and have Cortana respond to whatever name I wish. I have 2 computers, and when I say Hey Cortana, they both respond, which is stupid and annoying. How if everyone in your home had the same name???

 

Next thing, I have a program installed called Kodi. When I say Hey Cortana, Open Kodi! more than half the time Cortana tries to open a NON-DEFAULT browser to query from a NON-DEFAULT search engine for the word Cody. The only way I found to stop this is to make a link to the Kodi.exe app and have the description name as Cody. But then I'm presented with the options of choosing between 1. Cody or 2 Kodi every time I ask Cortana to open Kodi.

 

You guys are too busy trying to force Edge and/or Internet Explorer down our throats which is why you're unable to accomplish goals that will truly make us content. Its like you started a project and dropped it halfway, and we're stuck with a Cortana that can't get out of 1st grade.

 

If there are no updates within the next month or 2 I'm un-linking all my info from your apps, disabling Cortana and will seek other apps to fill the void. Cortana gets a D-.

 

My question is How do I add my default browser to the list of apps when Cortana needs Bing???

 

How can I get Cortana to make it a priority to run a app and not go to the web when I say Run app, Execute app, or Start app????
