My mother unwittingly fell victim to the Zeus virus scam by calling the phone number listed on the fake message that appeared on her computer screen. She then spent several minutes talking to one of the fake tech support people.

Because she trusted them and didn't know any better, she gave remote access to her computer to the " tech support "

Also, how to remove anything that the fake tech person may have installed on her computer while they had remote access?
