windows 10 Can't print unless program is in elevated (admin mode)

I am having trouble printing documents to any printer unless I start the application with administrator privileges. For example I can't print any documents from Microsoft Word unless i run it with Administrator rights. This problem isn't specific to any printer either, I have tried printing to two physical printers and also Microsoft Print to PDF.

 

 

When I try to print a document, the print queue says 'spooling' for less than a second before the document is removed from the queue.

 

 

I don't know what could be causing this and how I could fix it.
