Windows Media Player Gives Error Message When I try to burn CDs

When I try to burn a CD I get this message: Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait for the current task to finish. If necessary, verify that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver.

 

 

My device will play CDs fine but will not write either data or audio CDs. DVDRAMGU90N is the drive I have. If I try to update the driver the message tells me I already have the newest/ best driver. The burner is not busy. I have checked that as well. I have tried several blank CDs/ DVDs.
