When I view an exe file in the Windows File Explorer and want to create a shortcut to the desktop, I can do it by right dragging the file to the desktop, but the right click context menu choice 'Send To > Desktop (Create Shortcut)' doesn't work. I see this: "No CMC mail provider is currently installed" Any suggestions on how to fix this? TIA, Mike

Question about the WinXP Backup Utility...
by Guest Reese- 11 replies

The WinXP Backup Utility (Program Files / Accessories / System Tools) bundles the backup in a .bkf file. Is there any way to regularly schedule one of these backups WITHOUT bundling everything? Just to mirror-copy a bunch of folders, for instance. And schedule it weekly, using only WinXP tools? Thanks.
