LCD MONITOR EYE STRAIN
by Guest LOLL- 6 replies

These monitors are supposed to be easier on the eyes. I find quite the opposite and not just eye strain but headache, mild nausea and mild dizziness. I have heard many people complain about adverse symtoms from these LCD monitors. Anyone else suffering? Any ideas on how to make viewing easier and healthful. These anti glare screens on the market are of no help.

To Begin Click Your User Name
by Guest Tonder- 3 replies

Opps, using Tweak I turned off the only name used on computer, thinking it would avoid this screen which started turning up and requiring me to click on the user name. So as you can guess this dimwit gets the To Begin Click Your User Name screen, there is of course, no name to click on, sooooooo, how do I get around this screen block and get onto the computer so I can go and put Tweak back the way it was. Please do not note this dimwit's error on his personal record! Now if you can tell me how to get past the block, perhaps you can also tell me how to correctly avoid having the To Begin Click Your User Name screen show up. It didn't used to do that…

I'm sure this is incredibly simple but I don't know the answer. We have an XP SP2 machine that has remote desktop enabled from the MY PC properties. We can remote into the box after someone logs in locally but if we reboot the box and no one is logged in, no one can remote desktop into the box. Is there a way to enable remote desktop so that people can remote into the PC even if the PC has just booted and no one has logged in yet? Thanks PS - I could have it autologon and enable a password protected screen saver but I'd prefer not.
