Photoshop Crashes everytime I print to network printer
by Guest horsepix54- 0 replies

Every time I send a print over our network to our Epson 2200, Photoshop will crash a few moments after the print has finished. Sometimes it just goes "Poof", no error message, no nothing, it's just gone. Other times it gives me the "Send Error Report" dialog box with the message "Adobe Photoshop CS2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error signature says AppName: photoshop.exe AppVer: 9.0.2.0 ModName:unknown ModVer 0.0.0.0 Offset: 03301548 . I also have occasionally had a similar problem with other applications, but Photoshop is my main line of work so that's where I experience most of the problems.

Lost Cookies Folder
by Guest tommyvin- 1 reply

When I used to right click the Start button and the left click Explore, I could see the Cookies folder just under Owner. Now it's missing. Perhaps instead of deleting all the cookies (except Index), I deleted the entire folder. Should I have this folder? Is it possible to put it back? How do I do this?

I received several e-mails with document attachments with the .MAX extension. I did find The Folder options control panel, and added the .MAX extension, but still nothing.. I also have 2 files on my computer(I think they are pictures), so apparently at some point I was able to open them. Can someone please tell me if there is a common program that opens these files. I found paperport does and I did have a paperport scanner at one point, but no longer do. Does HPALL in One that will open these files.. Word?? What?? I am stuck!! Thanks for any and all input.

Drop Down list PROBLEM
by Guest Fred S *****- 8 replies

Hi folks, I am helping a friend with I. E. 7 and FireFox (v2.0.0.15) installed on a WinXP PC. My friend is having a problem where all drop down menus at a site lists only four out of about ten items. The site is at his golf club and after logging in he just clicks on "Golf" and the drop down appears. He goes to the 6th or 7th item to select tee times. In his case, the drop down lists four (4) items. It is supposed to list around 10 items. The tee time item (and others) do NOT appear! I tried it on my two computers, also at another friends computer and it works just fine (properly) for all of us USING HIS ID & PW on BOTH IE and FF. That is, ab…

In mid June in this newsgroup, there was an off-topic conversation about the filtering of posts in MS newsgroups. In order to get the straight story on the issue, I asked my MS contact to comment on the filtering issue. If you would like to read his comments, please download a zipped .txt file from my web site: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/assets/images/Filtering.zip If you have any comments, you can contact me via email through my web site rather than starting another off-topic thread here. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP Shell User

Mouse focus
by Guest Michael- 2 replies

Hello, I am assuming that this is a focus problem, maybe not. The last few days I've noticed that I have to click on buttons several times with the mouse before there is a response. I click and nothing happens, then a few more clicks and maybe the program finally responds. This is not related to an individual window or program, it seems to be Windows-wide. I changed the "focus" setting in the Tweak UI part of PowerToys; that seems to help for an hour or a few minutes and then the mouse is back to its sluggish ways. Thanks in advance for any insight into this problem

Windows Start up problem
by Guest Greg Oliver- 2 replies

My problem is one that I've never had before. My WindowsXP Pro starts up what is seemingly fine. I put in my password, it does its normal "loading user settings", pauses and then I get an error message stating that the application failed to initalize. I hit OK and it pops up again, and I hit ok again. Then, my desktop appears and I have no icons. I do know that I have several virus and spyware attacking my system. My problem is that my current spyware and registry cleaner are not solving the problem, nor is One Care. The only way I can access the internet is to wait for the spyware to pop up telling me I have a problem that re-directs me to a web page. Fro…
