Updates KB94385 and KB941644

We installed these two updates in addition to .NET 2.0 SP1 on Sunday 2/3/08. These were installed on two seperate, but identical Win2k SP4 servers on two different subnets. On Monday 2/4 a user called complaining of an issue with an Excel file they were editing on a server share. It basically stated that the file was was in use, etc. but they had the option to save the file to a different name. An inspection of the problem file revealed that the only property that was accessable was the general tab. The Security and Summary tabs were not displayed, consequently even admin could not move or delete the file. This occured each day with other files. A c…

Types of ports in routers
by Guest Big Sky- 1 reply

I've been interested in getting a switch for my network as I am running out of ports on my wireless router. I even have a Belkin wired router downstream that has the DHCP turned off so it can work as a hub (switch?). I've read about the inherent advantages of a switch versus a hub. But I was wondering, does a wireless router (lower level DLink G) have a built in hub or a switch? I can't find it in my documentation. It just says it has 4 10/100 ports. If its a hub, perhaps it would be better to run all my computers into a switch with a single connection to the router. Then my computers would get better speed for gaming, accessing shared files, etc. Of course…

Can not change owner to other users or groups
by Guest CMoores- 0 replies

Hi, On my Windows 2000 Server SP4 file server there is no option to change the owner to other users or groups, the option box just isn't there, I can only set the owner as administratot or the user currently logged on. Also, when a user creates a new folder no owner is assigned at all so it can not inherit any permissions. Would anyone know why this is occuring? Thanks, Colin

Better Premature Ejaculation Control

I've been taking some medication that interfered with my sex habits. In other words, I was shooting a little prematurely, though I had no problem getting an erection. 20 mg of Cialis has made wonders for me. There wasn't a noticeable difference until the 3rd dose. In any event, the stuff did a nice job of correcting my problem. I can go for a long time now before climaxing, and there is better control.John Smith -- http://www.pharmacies4us.com
