Hi all, This is the first time I post question here...glad to have these newsgroup for seeking help. I encounter a problem in setting a property for a domain account. I need to enable an account option for a user "Account is trusted for delegation" in the user's properties under Active Directory, however, this option is not available in the Active Directory Users and Computer in office computer. When I back home and turn on my testing PC, I found that this option is shown on the form. I really don't understand what is missing in our office's windows 2003 server configuration? Please kindly help. Thanks in advance, Raymond

NAT Router restricted by RADIUS
by Guest Curt McNamee- 5 replies

I'm trying to setup a NAT router that uses RADIUS authentication to determine which packets should be passed from the internal network out to the internet. I have tried to do this with RRAS without luck, I get the feeling the NAT implementation there doesn't any form of authentication. I've also tried using ISA but that requires a special piece of software to be installed on each client. I'm trying to just use the currently-logged-in user's credientials as the authentication token sent to my RADIUS server. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

Hi , I extended iSCSI filesystem on our EMC NAS device but when I used Diskpart and run a scan we are unable to see the addition disk space on the host computer. i.e when I run "list volume" I still see original volume size. I am running Windows 2003 R2 (64bit) with SP2 with Clustering . I disabled cluser services on both nodes and tried but no luck . Thanks for the help.

by Guest klafert- 1 reply

I had a problem where everyone was having problems with email, file maker and other services. I was getting different issues and calls from diffrent endusers. What steps should I take first if I am getting calls about multiple services from multiple clients that are all running off the same server? Would it be best to check the server and logs or start from each enduser. I am trying to make a list for my trainee on what steps should be taken in what order if this kind of problem comes up.

Hi, I am not able to navigate to our website without prefixing www. i.e we would like to be able to type myDomain.com into IE without having to type http://www.myDomain.com we have checked out DNS - see the screenshot. http://www.box.net/shared/7vrlahow8w Also, already gone to domain in DNS console and right click and create a new host - where the name is black and the IP address is the IP address of the website. So when I do a nslookup from inside the domain I get the domain controllers and IP address of the website. thanks for your help!

Our W2K3 R2 64-bit DC has been up and running for some time, and getting time updates regularly. Last week, it started a spate of failed attempts which have become rather chronic. First, I followed advice to set the time source: w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:time.nist.gov,0x8 /syncfromflags:MANUAL net stop w32time net start w32time w32tm /resync Had no luck. I verified that TCP & UDP ports 123 were available to the server and tested successfully with: w32tm /monitor /computers:time.nist.gov I also re-registered the service with: net stop w32time w32tm /unregister w32tm /register net start w32time Also to no avail. I did find a h…
