Looking for recomendation for book to learn Powershell
by Guest Mike O- 4 replies

I am looking for a book about using Powershell on a Windows 2003 A/D system. I'll be initially using it in an Exchange 2007 environment at first , but I would like to be able to use it for non-Exchange tasks. I've been a Windows admin since Win 3.1/DOS days, and I've done a little VBScript, and have some programming background, so I'm not starting totally at the beginning. I've been to the "Updating your Exchange 2003 skills to 2007", so I have done a little with the Exchange command shell, too. I did some general internet searching, and have seen a lot of different books, but at $40-$50 each, I'd like to get some recommendations before I buy one. …

by Guest Brock Hensley- 0 replies

Source: LsaSrv Event ID: 6033 An anonymous session connected from DESTRUCTOR has attempted to open an LSA policy handle on this machine. The attempt was rejected with STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED to prevent leaking security sensitive information to the anonymous caller. The application that made this attempt needs to be fixed. Please contact the application vendor. As a temporary workaround, this security measure can be disabled by setting the \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\TurnOffAnonymousBlock DWORD value to 1. This message will be logged at most once a day. I've been seeing this lately on a few different servers. Can anyone…

It does not crop up in any of the product reviews. Is the Firewall enough Roger Stenson
